My location is not listed, what do I do?

Please type in the name of the city you are located in and upon doing so, you will see various drop down options matching your location. Please select the location that matches your city and state. An example would be typing in Los Angeles and then choosing “Los Angeles, California, US” from the drop down options. If your city or town does not appear in the dropdown, you may have to choose the next closest location. If you are located outside the US, you will need to input a region or province after the city name.


Why isn’t my URL working?

The Crowdfunder URL is not for your company’s website but for you to enter the custom URL extension you’d like for your Crowdfunder page. For example, if you’d like the URL to read “www.crowdfunder.com/MyCompany” you need to only enter in “MyCompany”.


Why can’t I upload my photo or logo?

Make sure your photo is JPG, GIF or PNG. Any file type other that those will not work.


What video type should I use for my Crowdfunder Profile?

We currently host YouTube videos on your profile. Please note, that your sharing preferences must be set to public in order to add your video.

At this time, only one video can appear on your profile. You can add additional video links under your Custom Content section.

Remember that you video cannot contain any private deal information.


How can I change my campaign from Private to Public and vice versa?

Please contact the Support Team if you would like to change your campaign from Private to Public. Please note you are not able to change your campaign from Public to Private as it goes against SEC regulations. Before changing your campaign to public, please read our Public Fundraising Guide.


What type of Documents can I use for my Deal?

Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and PDF.

The maximum file size is 16MB for each document.


How do I extend my Deal end date?

To extend your deal’s end date, click on the grey ‘Edit Profile’ button on your company profile. From there, click on the ‘Investment Details’ tab. In the ‘Fundraise Details’ section, there is a box labeled ‘Closing Date’. You can change your closing date at any point during your campaign.


Why does my campaign say “Your public profile is Unpublished. Your fundraise is currently Running and Public/Private?”

You may have launched your Deal without publishing your company on our site. This means that those who have the link to your profile can see your campaign, but since your company is not published, it cannot be searched in the ‘Browse Companies’ section of our site. Make sure to click the orange ‘Publish Company’ button to make it searchable to investors on the Crowdfunder platform.


Why can’t I see my deal in the ‘Browse Companies’ Section?

If you are an non-accredited investor AND your deal is Private, you will not be able to view your deal in the ‘Browse Companies’ Section. With Private deals, only self-verified accredited investors are able to view your campaign.


Can I make changes to my Deal once it’s live?

You cannot make changes to your deal once it is live. We have feature where you can pause your deal by clicking the ‘Pause Campaign’ button on your company profile. When you click this button, you can make the edits you need and ‘un-pause’ your deal when finished.


How do I delete my Personal Profile?

To delete your profile, go to “Account Settings”. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the red button that says “Delete Account.”


How do I delete my Deal?

If you would like to delete your Deal, please contact the Support Team.


How do I reset my password?

To reset your password, go to “Account Settings” and select the second option to “Change Password”. If you have forgotten your password, go to the homepage, click “login” then click the “forgot password” link.
