What does it cost to raise money on Crowdfunder?

Getting started with Crowdfunder is free. We charge a one-time fee to make your Deal discoverable to our network of accredited investors.


How do I upgrade or cancel my subscription?

If you would like to upgrade your account or cancel your current subscription, please contact the Support Team.


What are your refund policies?

If you are not satisfied with the product, you may ask for a refund within 24 hours of your purchase. You may also cancel your subscription at anytime.


What is the difference between public and confidential documents in my Deal?

Public documents are available for any registered Accredited Investor on the platform to view. You will have to grant access to Accredited Investors in your Deal Admin for them to view your confidential documents.


What’s a good minimum investment amount for my Deal?

We recommend a minimum investment in the range of $5K – $25K. We see that most transactions happen in this range. It also opens the door to a much wider audience of investors the lower the minimum investment is.


How long does it take to close your Round on Crowdfunder?

A campaign typically lasts 60-90 days on Crowdfunder. This time allows for you to leverage your network, generate leads, and close investors.


Can we adjust our fundraising goal in the middle of a campaign if we see strong interest?

You can make changes to your fundraising goal at any time, however, keep in mind that you may also have to adjust these numbers in your deal documents.


Does Crowdfunder take a percentage on any funds raised through the site?

Crowdfunder does not take a percentage of funds raised.


Do we get to keep the funds raised even if we do not reach our fundraising goal at our end date?

You may extend your end date if you have not reached your fundraising goal. With Crowdfunder, you get to keep the funds raised regardless of whether or not you reached your goal. This is because investors invest with the contingency of your business being a success and not if you reach your fundraising goal.


How do I share my Deal with my network?

To share your Deal, go to your company profile where you will be able to email your contacts your Campaign.

What is a SlideShare and how do I use it?

SlideShare is a community for sharing presentations and other professional content. You can embed an Investor Presentation via SlideShare to present your deck easily to investors.

To create a presentation go to Slideshare, create a profile and upload your presentation. Please note, you will need to set your sharing preferences to Public so your presentation can be uploaded to Crowdfunder.

Remember, since this is a public-facing document, you cannot include any private deal information.


Can I run multiple deals for the same company?

The basics of fundraising do not allow for you to run two separate rounds with separate terms at the same time. You can run one round of fundraising, complete it, then open a new round at different terms.
